Step by Step

1- Orientation

First, one of our mentors will welcome you to our school and discuss our class locations and schedule. You will talk about the class environment, goalkeeping gear, and what we expect from our goalkeeping students. Mentors are equipped and ready to answer all your questions.

2- Assignment

Next, we will assign you to a group with students their age and/or level. Their class level may be adjusted based on ability. At Keeper School, Students also teach students under the close watch of the goalkeeping director. This fosters communication skills, leadership habits and better understanding of goalkeeping principles.

3- Nurturing

Finally, goalkeepers enter into an environment where the favorite people are goalkeepers. We record on video within the first 3 months, a THGS baseline, which includes all basic goalkeeping techniques. Then set specific goals for your goalkeeper and create a simple plan to accomplish them. We will monitor progress with on-field tests, one on one calls, quarterly  recordings, and group check-ins. Keepers will also receive a Home Training Guide, which provide weekly exercises to complete.
